Student Library Advisory Committee

The Mansfield Library values and appreciates the role and voice of students. In order to provide a forum for open dialogue, feedback, insights and opinions, the Library Student Advisory Committee is seeking students to meet for feedback, guidance and advice.

The committee has several goals, which include:

To open and maintain effective communication between students and Mansfield Library personnel;
To transmit the needs and feelings of the student body regarding the library;
To identify student issues, interests, and opinions;
To serve as a sounding board for programs and policies initiated by the library;
To serve as an advocacy forum for the library.

What we are asking you to do:

Attend meetings twice a semester (lunch is provided for you)
Participate in discussions/project/action
Provide direct and honest feedback
